Product Information
The Motion Control ETD2 Heavy Duty (second generation Electric Terminal Device) provides the same robust, functional, water resistance, and shorter than the original ETD. A full 2 cm (3/4 inch) shorter than the ETD, the ETD2 is not only useful with long trans-radial amputation levels, it also closely matches the size of a standard-length hand.
- Multiple gripping surfaces are located between the fingers and on the outside surfaces
- Replaceable Gripping surfaces.
- Proximal gripping surfaces holds large cylindrical objects stable
- Wide fingers increase surface area for holding ability at decreased pinch forces.

Frequently Bought Together
ETD2 Flag Option
Force Limiting Auto Grasp. With FLAG engaged, pinch force is limited to approximately 2 lbs of pinch force. It is then pulsed up with a muscle contraction. Auto Grasp also tightens the grip if an inadvertent signal is sensed.
ETD2 Protective Sleeve
Creates a splash-resistant cover over the wrist and forearm. Used with ETD2 only.
Wrist Option Stud
A ½ -20 stud replaces the Quick Disconnect on MC Terminal Devices. A common application would be Otto Bock Ball and Socket Wrist. Ordered in conjunction with a Motion Control Hand or ETD.
Multi-Flex Wrist Option
The Motion Control Multi-Flex Wrist allows movement in multiple directions and is spring loaded to the center of travel. The spring loaded centering provides a ”natural” feel. The wrist can flex in any direction as needed and adjust to the loads placed on it, which provides a more comfortable feel versus a rigid wrist. The manual latch mechanism enables or disables the latch. When the latch is enabled, the wrist is locked. When the latch is disabled, the wrist is unlocked.Standard, ProPlus, ETD, and ETD2 options are available.
Wrist Disarticulation Option
For Direct Lamination of the Terminal Device to the Forearm. (No Quick disconnect)
ETD2 Replacement Gripping Surface
Replacement gripping surfaces for the ETD2 including gripping pads, outside friction pads, and replacement screws.
ETD2 Flexion Wrist Option
The Motion Control Flexion Wrist allows an ETD2 (second generation Electric Terminal Device) to be moved and locked for optimal positioning while eating, driving, etc. A manual lever locks the Wrist in the neutral position or at 30 degrees of extension, or 26, and 52 degrees, of flexion.
MC Powered Flexion Wrist MC Hand - Flexion/Extension
The Motion Control Powered Flexion Wrist provides active wrist flexion and extension. The device attaches via an industry standard quick disconnect. The MC Hand is permanently attached to the distal end of the wrist. The controller in the PFW provides proportional control of flexion/extension, a pause at home feature and TD/Wrist switching by co-contraction or fast access triggers. The PFW is IPX7 water resistant.
