Product Information

The Motion E2 Elbow is a lightweight electric elbow that can be used with switch control, or proportional myoelectric control. The versatility of the Motion E2 Elbow allows placement of the batteries and switches throughout the prosthesis, whether in the forearm, within the humeral section of the prosthesis, or switches placed on a shoulder disarticulation socket.

  • Small enough to be used by adolescents or smaller adults.
  • Forearms can either be prefabricated, or custom fabricated
  • Prefabricated forearms are available in four colors (Tan, Light Brown, Brown or Black)

Switches for the Motion E2:The Motion Two-Button Switch utilizes the same two switches but a more universal 4-pin connector to integrate with the Motion E2 Elbow system.The Motion 2-Position Pull Switch utilizes a more universal 4-pin connector to integrate with the Motion E2 Elbow system. In the relaxed position, the switch is off, the first stop is elbow extension, the second stop, is elbow flexion.

The Motion Control Multi-Flex Wrist allows movement in multiple directions and is spring loaded to the center of travel. The spring loaded centering provides a ”natural” feel. The wrist can flex in any direction as needed and adjust to the loads placed on it, which provides a more comfortable feel versus a rigid wrist. The manual latch mechanism enables or disables the latch. When the latch is enabled, the wrist is locked. When the latch is disabled, the wrist is unlocked.Standard, ProPlus, ETD, and ETD2 options are available.
